Data Privacy, HR Analytics, and Leadership Training for the month of September!
September started with PVP’s ongoing partnership with the European Chamber of Commerce (ECCP) in ensuring that all companies are compliant with the Data Privacy Law through our training entitled, "Data Privacy Compliance: Masterclass Edition" held on September 6, 8, 13, and 18. Ten years after the enactment of the Data Privacy Act, there are still companies in need of guidance and hand-holding in complying with the law. And it is through this re-engineered workshop, a comprehensive program that brings down companies’ assessment and compliance from 5 weeks of training to 4 half-day sessions of online training with offline consulting that companies are finally able to become compliant in the shortest time possible. After the workshop, the participants, who are their company’s top data privacy officers will not only have assessed their current compliance condition but will return with a fully documented PIA Report and a completed Privacy Management Program (PMP) governance manual.
On September 15, during the CSC's 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary: 2022 Public Sector Human Resource Symposium, Dr. Marshall Valencia, PVP President and Director for Research & Analytics, was invited by the Civil Service Commission to give a talk on People Analytics Made Easier and Friendlier. The theme of the 2022 Public Sector Human Resource Symposium is Building Resilient Organizations: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Leaders and HR Practitioners and the symposium focused on the strategic role of government leaders and HR practitioners in building resilient organizations as well as in developing resilient human capital. Resilience is especially important with the need to overcome challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and adapt to emerging technologies
Dr. Valencia’s session emphasized that Human Resource professionals do not need high-level technical or programming or statistical skills or expensive tools or software to implement people analytics. Developments in technology have made analytics a lot easier, friendlier, and cheaper, thus helping organizations become faster adaptors to change, especially in the field of data analytics.
PVP also had a packed session with Interasia Outsourcing, Inc last September 21 with a face-to-face session for their LeaderSIP - Brewing Next Gen Leaders training and workshop. This session was done face-to-face because it focused on working as a cohesive team and being a coach to their subordinates.
PVP's "LeaderSIP - Brewing Next Gen Leaders" offers companies curated topics for their leaders as they work and lead together to strengthen organizational culture, improve team cohesion, and become effective leaders overall. The 2-hour virtual session is semi-structured, so it is perfect for adult learners who are also busy executives.
