On September 18, 2023, we had an insightful session during our pilot workshop, "Establishing Crisis Responders in the Workplace," alongside our dear partners at Emerson Electric!

Our distinguished speaker, Ms. Aless Arpon, RPsy, explored a spectrum of topics, inviting us to understand how our mental health impacts our work life. We have dived into the realm of Understanding Psychological Health and Safety within the Workplace, examined Psychological Hazards that can manifest in our daily lives, and discussed the Significance of Mental Health in the Professional Sphere.

The discussion continued by shedding light on Common Mental Health Crises that can emerge within the workplace and providing invaluable insights into How to Respond effectively. The need for a Crisis Response Team was also touched on, emphasizing the crucial role it plays in maintaining the peace and balance of the professional environment.

The training also included Real-Life Crisis Response Scenarios, immersing us in the challenges that may arise and equipping us with the knowledge needed to address them. Additionally, we talked about the Vital Importance of Self-Care since it acts as a beacon of hope and resilience in our lives amid the demanding environment of the professional world.

However, it was not just the profound insights of our speaker that left a lasting impression. Our hearts were genuinely touched by the shared experiences of our esteemed participants. Their willingness to open up and contribute their personal perspectives added layers of depth and authenticity to our collective understanding. This exchange of insights and experiences transformed our learning session into a deeply meaningful experience.

So, we extend our gratitude to our friends at Emerson Electric for entrusting us with the mission of prioritizing the mental health and well-being of their employees. Your commitment to fostering a supportive and healthy workplace is truly commendable!
