Course Description:

Mental health is a multidimensional construct, encompassing a variety of measures. With such, it is valid to keep in mind that even our finances can take a toll on our mental health. In better understanding our overall mental well-being, in this session, we will encounter how exactly money and mental health intertwine, and how financial issues affect our well-being. Likewise, we will learn about corresponding concepts, such as financial literacy and financial health. While also providing pertinent knowledge on how to live financially wiser.


Webinar Objectives:

At the end of the training, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the relationship between money and mental health.

  2. Identify the effect of financial stress on wellness.

  3. Create strategies how to live more financially responsible.

OUR RESOURCE SPEAKER

Dr. Marshall Valencia

Dr. Marshall is a social and organizational psychologist with over 20 years of experience as an HR consultant, trainer, and social scientist. He is the Director for Research and Analytics at PVP and a faculty member at the University of the Philippines. He was previously with Nottingham University Business School. He has published research and presented at conferences worldwide.

Mightor Hernandez

Mightor Hernandez is PVP’s Director for Finance and Business Development. He has a BS degree in Management from Ateneo de Manila University, an MBA in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management, and a diploma in Interior Design from Sydney. He has built a career in finance and sales in Manila and Singapore, practices interior design, and consults for multinational companies and SMEs in Manila.
